May the Eternal Word of God who spoke us into Being, allow us the strength to protect HIS image in us, and give us strength to renew in us HIS likeness, as Saint Paul said, "Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all die, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible should put on incorruption, and this mortal should put on immortality, then will come to pass the word which was written: "Death was swallowed up in victory."

My New Age friend out in California can't get this part, stuck in the Nihilism of New Age/Eastern Religious thought, thinking that death is a friend. No death is an enemy that is being conquered and will be completely conquered when our Likeness to the Eternal Word is restored as Saint Paul knew full well. He could prophetically crow and mock death saying, next, "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. +++

 

Stand up, America, protect the image of the Eternal Word who created you and don't become the corrupted flesh, as in the days of Noah, who were wiped from the planet and will be wiped away again.
