The Jews from a Christian Understanding.
The Jews
Forgive me for writing bluntly about "Bible Only" people; the fact is I'm talking to my former self. I always had a strong emotional tie to the person Jesus Christ but more than an imprecise understanding of his significance to me and the world. I grew so unsatisfied with Protestant denominational Christianity that by my mid-twenties, when someone would ask, "What denomination are you?" I would answer, "I am a nothingness." And it was an accurate description since although I pastored as a Methodist, I thought their Book of Discipline was confused and even silly, and Papist dogmatism was beyond silly; it was evil. The Methodist's Book of Discipline has left them without answers to the LGBTQXYZ movement. Vatican I and Vatican II dogmatics have left the Vatican Pagan, Marxist, Globalist, and anti-christ.
Further, the Christian sloganeering of the Biblical Fundamentalist was always shallow and confused, and none of them seem to be able to answer a question that challenged the slogan. Even such high-sounding slogans of the World Council of Churches and National Council of Churches, "Jesus is Lord," though making a nice bumper-sticker and ostensibly true, created no unity of understanding or strength against the challenges of the last half of the twentieth century. Even though I had read the Bible through, cover to cover, twice before the age of forty, an accurate understanding of who Jesus was and is and what The Body of Christ was and is only began to open to me mid-life. It was a remarkable journey and taken thoughtfully at every juncture of my ignorance. And yes, ignorance since none of us are free of what the Orthodox fathers named prelest, that is the false things we believe. The difference between the single seeker and the seeker of Orthodox Christianity the former says, "I think because of x, y, or z." theology is a rational exercise no matter the richness or limitations of one's tools. The latter says, "The Church teaches," and indeed, she has truthfully and consistently for 2000 years. It is not just that the Church has amassed a body of teaching; it is that the core teachings of the Church are HEALING. And without that healing, all else, no matter how poetic or rational the theology, it would be worthless. If there is power in the Name of Jesus, as my sloganeering friends like to proclaim, there is even more power in the proper understanding and proper relationship with that name.
The hunt was exciting. Giving that up and submitting to Truth was difficult, but I may gain some understanding before I breathe my last breath. - Archpriest Symeon Elias.
Sadly most Bible Only people read the Bible without context. They believe as Dr. James White believes and Bart D. Ehrman, two masterful Biblical Scholars believe that the context of the scripture is the scripture itself. Of course, the same belief system is held in less and less scholarly understanding by the "Bible Only" people who reject the Church but believe themselves properly spiritual and adhere to the "Jesus, the Bible and Me," the Church of the individual ego. For these people, Jesus becomes formed into their image, and the Bible text grossly ripped from its history and purpose, and even Biblical context is used to enforce their illusion. This is a heresy called prelest.
Prelest (Russian: прелесть, from Russian: лесть - cajolery; (charm, seduction), Greek: πλάνη - plani), also known as: spiritual delusion, spiritual deception, delusion, illusion, – according to Holy Fathers of Eastern Orthodox Church, a false spiritual state, a spiritual illness, "a wounding of human nature by falsehood" - a man's assimilation of falsehood as truth (St. Ignatius Brianchaninov).[1] The concept of prelest should not be confused with somatic mental illness of any kind, prelest is rather a spiritual illness[2] - an illness of the soul in its personal relation to God, an illness that is to be cured by humility and Holy Sacraments and under the guidance of the spiritual father. In the broadest sense, everyone is in prelest: everyone has some wrong thoughts and views, everyone does not fully understand the meaning of life, the degree of own sinfulness, etc.
The reality of this egocentric center of the "Jesus, The Bible and Me" truncation is that the meaning of scripture is distorted by rebellion to the guidance of the Holy Spirit; while such guidance is claimed, it is arrogantly or fearfully shunned. A witness to this is the fact that the great Biblical Scholars, Dr. James White and Dr. Bart Erhman, hold identical and vast knowledge of Scripture, and both are Church rejecting, one is a cult leader, leading a tiny segment of Baptist Calvinists and the other is an apostate and agnostic. Jesus mocked the Jewish scribes and Pharisees of his day, saying, "Joh 5:38-39 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." Their entire scriptural knowledge left them blind. He also said to them, "Don't even begin to claim you have Abraham as your father." Here is the exact quote:
Mat 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Mat 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." Against these words of Jesus, modern fundamentalist keep painting "the Jews" as the real and Christians as just the step-children of the promise.
The Church has taught this about the Jews from the very first (as Bishop Melito's Pascha sermon confirms, as does the words of Jesus, and the Apostles in the New Testament).
Who are the Jews?
Originally, God's chosen people who followed the Covenant given by the Lord to Moses
(1) citizens of Judah
(2) the post-exile people of Israel, or
(3) the worshipers of Yahweh.
God chose the Jews to prepare the way for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Only-begotten Son of God. Through Christ the distinction between Jew and Gentile has been overcome, and all who truly follow Him have become the chosen people of God.
Acts 22:3 - Saint Paul speaking to the Jews that held him captive, under arrest in the Temple in Jerusalem:
I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
Roman 1:16 - Again St Paul writing to the faithful Christians in Rome, some minority were born Jews, the majority were not:
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Remember he is speaking historically recounting what has happened, that the Gospel was first preached to the Jews, that Jesus himself born to the Jewish Virgin Mary, came from the Jews. This is chronological, not an order of rank or importance.
Romans 2:28 & 29 - In the same letter to the believers in Rome, who were both Jews by birth and gentile by birth Saint Paul says:
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Galatians 3:28 Writing to the Galatians who had been harassed and some lead astray by Judaizing heretics, who made much of the fact that they were of the Seed of Abraham, blood Jews, Saint Paul said,
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
All above was in the voice of Saint Paul speaking as he was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Here is Saint Peter, writing to the "churches" in Asia Minor that were being persecuted, they were both Jewish by birth and Gentile by birth, some few Jewish Christians having fled Jerusalem following the slaying of the proto-martyr Saint Stephen, the audience was majority Gentile:
1Pe 2:9 & 10 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellent virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who formerly were not a people but now are the people of God, who had not received mercy, but now have received mercy.
This last part, "but now are the people of God, who had not received mercy, but now have received mercy." That message could not be properly said about the Jews, since Saint Miletos of Sardis, in his Pascha sermon waxed poetic about the many, many graces and mercies that had been showered upon the Jews, in the course of Jewish history, how the eternal Logos, had led them and sheltered them and gave the water from a rock and freed them parting the sea and bringing plagues upon the Egyptians, and sparing their first born by the blood of the lamb as the Egyptian first born were taken by darkness and death. Even in Saint Melitos larger list, it is anything but exhaustive. God truly blessed the Jews, and they murdered his prophets and the Lord of Glory, and as Saint Melitos also says, "it was not in hiding and in secret, but openly, in broad daylight in the center of Jerusalem." He says of that act, it was an act of infamy.
In each instance the apostles were speaking directly to "the Church." This isn't a general statement to all of humankind, but to those who through the hearing and doing of the Gospel have placed themselves "in Christ, by Faith and action, becoming "the Seed of Abraham."
The Kingdom of God:
God's rule and reign.
The Kingdom, revealed by Christ, is present in the world through the Church. The fullness of the Kingdom will come when Christ returns to judge the living and the dead, creating a new heaven and earth.
Mark 1:14 & 15
Mar 1:14 Now after John was imprisoned, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time has been fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."
Evangelical Zionists are awaiting another Kingdom and do not recognize the Kingdom being built upon the earth, at this point in time, here and now.
John 3, 3-6: Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born, being old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Nicodemus was seeking a Kingdom of which he was not yet a part, and he was a righteous Jew.
Romans 8: 20- 23
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but on account of Him who subjected it in hope; because even the creation itself shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that all the creation groans together and labors in birth together until now.
And not only that, but also we ourselves having the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting adoption, the redemption of our body.
I Corinthians 6:9 &10
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor covetous, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor abusive people, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
And this extends to terrorist and criminal conspirators, whether they are CIA, Mossad, ISIS, or the IDF.
Revelations 21:1 thru 22:5
The New Heaven and the New Earth
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having been prepared like a bride having been adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them.
Rev 21:4 And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying out; neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away."
Rev 21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."
Rev 21:6 And He said to me, " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give from the spring of the water of life freely to him that is thirsty.
Rev 21:7 He that overcomes I shall give to him these things, and I shall be God to him, and he shall be to Me a son.
Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and sinners, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and drug users, and idolaters, and all who are false shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
The New Jerusalem
Rev 21:9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls being full with the seven last plagues came to me and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the wife, the bride of the Lamb."
Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in spirit onto a great and high mountain, and he showed to me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
Rev 21:11 having the glory of God. Its radiance was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal,
Rev 21:12 having a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel:
Rev 21:13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Rev 21:15 And he who spoke with me had a measure, a golden reed, so that he might measure the city, and its gates.
Rev 21:16 The city is laid out like a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.
Rev 21:17 And its wall is one hundred and forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, which is, of an angel.
Rev 21:18 And the construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
Rev 21:19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
Rev 21:20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
Rev 21:21 The twelve gates are twelve pearls: each one of the gates was made of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
Rev 21:22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, also the Lamb.
Rev 21:23 The city had no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
Rev 21:24 And the nations shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring to it the glory and honor of the nations into it.
Rev 21:25 And its gates shall by no means be closed by day, for night shall not exist there.
Rev 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it, so that they may enter.
Rev 21:27 But there shall by no means enter into it any common thing, and the one doing an abomination and a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Rev 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Rev 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on both sides of the river was the tree of life, producing twelve fruits, each yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants will minister to Him.
Rev 22:4 And they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
Rev 22:5 And night shall not exist. and there shall not be a need of a lamp and of light, because the Lord God shall illuminate them. And they shall reign forever and ever.
That New Jerusalem is in the process of being created. It is both "militant" upon the earth, and Triumphant in Heaven and one day will be Triumphant in both heaven and earth. This is the reason Jesus taught us to pray. "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Failure to understand
(1) what a Jew is
(2) who God's chosen people are
(3) to whom are given God's promises
(4) the non-ethnic nature of Christ's Church
lead to much confusion in modern "Bible Only People" even when they have vast and scholarly knowledge of the scriptures, as the aforementioned great bible scholars Dr. James White and Dr Bart Erhman prove.
Let us dig a little deeper:
Mat_4:12 Now when Jesus heard that John had been imprisoned, He departed into Galilee.
Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
The Faith of a Centurion
Mat 8:5 Now when He had entered Capernaum, a centurion approached Him, begging Him,
Mat 8:6 and saying, "Lord, my servant has been laid up in the house a paralytic, being tormented terribly."
Mat 8:7 And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
Mat 8:8 The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But just say the word and my servant will be healed.
Mat 8:9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
Mat 8:10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who were following, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!
Rebuke of Israel and the Jews
Mat_8:20 And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have dens, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
Jesus' Authority the Jews did not posses.
Jesus Heals a Paralytic
Mat 9:1 And getting into the boat, He crossed over and went into His own city.
Mat 9:2 And behold, they were carrying a paralytic to Him lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Have courage, child; your sins are forgiven you."
Mat 9:3 And at once some of the scribes said among themselves, "This Man blasphemes!"
Mat 9:4 But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?
Mat 9:5 For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Arise and walk'?
Mat 9:6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins"--then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."
Mat 9:7 And having arisen, he went off to his house.
Picture of the Barren Israel
Mat 21:19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "May fruit no longer come from you ever again." And immediately the fig tree withered away.
Mat 21:20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree wither away so soon?"
Mat 21:21 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you should say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen.
Mat 21:22 And all things, as many as you may ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive."
Passover and institution of the Eucharist
Mat 26:18 And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is near; at your house I will keep the Passover with My disciples." ' "
Mat 26:19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.
Mat 26:20 And when it was evening, He was reclining to eat with the twelve.
Mat 26:21 Now while they were eating, He said, "Assuredly I say to you, that one of you will betray Me."
Mat 26:22 And becoming exceedingly sorrowful, each of them began to say to Him, "Surely not I am the one, Lord?"
Mat 26:23 He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the bowl will betray Me.
Mat 26:24 Indeed, the Son of Man goes just as it is written about Him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."
Mat 26:25 Then Judas, the one betraying Him, answered and said, "Surely not I am the one, Rabbi?" He said to him, "You have said it."
Institution of the Lord's Supper
Mat 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took the bread, and giving thanks, He broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
Mat 26:27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink of it, all of you,
Mat 26:28 for this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many, for the forgiveness of sins.
Mat 26:29 But I say to you, that I will by no means drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."
It was the Jews who killed Jesus, they arrested him using the Temple guard and created false witnesses before the Roman authorities.
Betrayal and Arrest of Jesus
Mat 26:47 And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve came, and with him a great crowd with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and elders of the people.
This story represents Jesus' genuine effort to save the “children of Israel”.
Mar_7:27 But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."
Jesus' statement about the place of the Apostles.
Mat_19:28 So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the Regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
+++This is also a story of the Church since the Apostle told the heirs of the Apostles that they would judge even the angels.
Joh 3:9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, "How can these things be?"
Joh 3:10 Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?
Joh 3:11 Most assuredly I say to you, that which We know, We speak, and that which We have seen, We bear witness to, and you do not receive Our witness.
Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
In the first Sermon of the Church, Saint Peter clearly states that the Jews Crucified Jesus.
Act_2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
Later when Saint Paul healed and man and the Jewish authorities were questioning his authority he said:
Act_4:10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by this name this man stands here before you whole.
This is the common understanding of Christianity vs. the Jews held by the Church until the 20th century when the anti-christ heresies of Christian Zionism and Ecumenicism took hold.
Paul's Ministry to the Thessalonians
1Th 2:1 For you yourselves know, brothers, regarding our coming to you, that it was not in vain.
1Th 2:2 But suffering before and being spitefully treated at Philippi, just as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God with much conflict.
1Th 2:3 For our exhortation was not from error nor from uncleanness, nor in trickery,
1Th 2:4 but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who is testing our hearts.
1Th 2:5 For neither were we using flattering speech, as you know, nor covering up greed, God is our witness.
1Th 2:6 Nor seeking glory from men, neither from you, nor from others, even though we were able to carry weight as apostles of Christ.
1Th 2:7 But we proved to be gentle in your midst, as a nursing mother cherishes her own children.
1Th 2:8 In this way longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.
1Th 2:9 For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil; for laboring night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.
1Th 2:10 You are witnesses, and so is God, how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we were to you that believe;
1Th 2:11 as indeed you know how each one of you, as a father to his own children, we exhorted, and comforted you, and imploring you,
1Th 2:12 that you would make your walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
1Th 2:13 Because of this we also give thanks to God unceasingly, so that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you received not the word of men, but just as it truly is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.
1Th 2:14 For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus, because you suffered the same things from your fellow countrymen, just as also they did by the Jews,
1Th 2:15 who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they do not please God and are against all men,
1Th 2:16 forbidding us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved, so as always to fill up the measure of their sins; but the wrath of God has come upon them to the uttermost.
This last statement is a reference to the sacking and genocide of Jews in Jerusalem. The historical accounts of this show the Romans using brutality never before used upon the vassal Jews and razing the Temple until nothing was left of it, not even its foundation stones. The so-called wailing wall in East Jerusalem is the foundation of the Roman Garrison.
The following is a graphic account of the rejection of the Jews, even when they attempted to ape the acts of the Apostles and use the name of Jesus in their magic and exorcisms.
The Sons of Sceva
Act 19:11 And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul,
Act 19:12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons from his skin were brought to those who were sick, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out from them.
Act 19:13 Then some of the wandering Jews, exorcists, attempted to name the name of the Lord Jesus over those having the evil spirits, saying, "We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches."
Act 19:14 Now there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish high priest, doing this.
Act 19:15 But the evil spirit answered and said, "Jesus I know, and Paul I am acquainted with; but who are you?"
Act 19:16 Then the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped upon them, and having subdued them, prevailed against them, so that they fled from that house naked and wounded.
Act 19:17 Now this became known to all both Jews and Greeks who were dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all, and they were praising the name of the Lord Jesus.
Act 19:18 And many of those who had believed were coming, confessing and disclosing their deeds.
Act 19:19 And many of those who were practicing magic brought together their books and burned them up before all. And they counted up the prices of them, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver.
Act 19:20 Thus the word of the Lord was growing powerfully and prevailed.
Here was a horrid Book Burning, something that the Luciferians claim always to be evil and wrong. In control of the media, they smeared the burning of the books and papers of the German-Jew's Pedophile, homosexual, and fetishist literature, produced and collected by the equivalent of the Kinsey Institute later America. There is no shock or shame in burning up Luciferian Books. And what were the books the Christians in Thessalonica burned up? They were the books of perennial paganism, the religions where the fallen angels and demonic spirits were worshiped. Today called "Sophianism, Theosophy, Mormonism, Wicca, Satanism, Luciferianism, Kaballah, Voodooism and the rest."
Because of the heresies of Christian Zionism on the one side and the heresy of Ecumenicism on the other side, the reality of the spirit of fallen and rejected Israel is lost to most modern Christian. They have been blinded by both the Pagan State of Israel, a false "holy country," and the philosophy of syncretism. Individual Jews might be very likable people. Indeed, most do not engage in the politics of the International Jews, who have been anti-christ at their core, conducting Christian genocides in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. During WWII, before the pagan state of Israel was formed, Winston Churchill gave a speech that today would get him kicked off YouTube. He was speaking in favor of the Zionist and the Balfour Agreement and the formation of the Pagan State of Israel. In that context he laid out, he talked about the ordinary Jews that have been sacrificed for political reasons to the International Jews, and he tied the International Jews to the Bolsheviks, the Russian Revolution, and the International Globalist and Communist movement.
The Church is not simply a gathering of "spiritual people"; it had form and authority from the very first.
