A Little Snow for the Soul

The snow has arrived again. 6 to 8 inches before sundown. It was snowing very hard. The barn behind me, 200 ft away, looks like a postcard. It sent my mind racing struck with awe and humility at the beauty and power of it all. The wind is up and whipping the snow. I found myself smiling and feeling a rush of warmth seeing the symphony of motions, the power in the wind gusts, the swirls, and huge flakes. My mind didn't go to the concept of the forming of ice crystals, nor the altitude of the clouds, nor barometric pressure, but to the mystical poetry of the motion, the BEAUTY of it all. 


I can't help thinking how sad it is for those "conditioned" in the mindset of "Scientism," thinking that all mysteries are knowable via some truncated version of reality contained in chemistry, biology, physics. Such ones find drudgery and the mundane in everything. Anything that interrupts their "routine" is merely a nuisance. 

 

There is so much more to human cognition than is contained in the straight jacket of Scientism. A little-known fact is that those open to the mystery of Being are most prone (according to the record and history of science) to break through the temporary boundaries of scientific formulas and observe the next level of "BEING." Those religionists, bound by the religion of Scientism, cannot comprehend that rather than being anti-science, those of us who hold God in our consciousness also hold a great appreciation for the "stuff" of BEING. I think GREATER appreciation. We believe that what has BEING deserves to be known inside the ethical boundaries of what is generative of LIFE. We Christians believe it is the job of science to reach greater and greater levels of knowledge about the mechanisms of BEING for the furtherance of health,m for the furtherance of what is good, beautiful and true.  We draw the line when they start telling us AS FACT that which they do not themselves know and when they turn science into a killing instrument, inside their death cult. 

I watched a video last night that I made in a couple months back, episode nine and ten in my "The Many Faces of Evil" series.  It was chilling hearing the words of the founder of Sun-Micro Systems, talking about the dangers of Artificial Intelligence, Nanotechnology and Robotics, saying basically that these technologies were in the hands of the death cult and all semblance of ethics was gone. The literally hold the power of world annihilation, the ability to reduce all matter to nano-goo. 

That was his truthful observation, but I had a different view.  In my discernment, I view the Mercy and Grace of God.  I was immediately reminded as I was praying about the times that the world came to the brink of nuclear conflagration, for certain minutes away from the total holocaust of the entire northern hemisphere, (or as the flat earthers call it, middle earth).  He with dire fear, me marveling at God's Mercy and Grace, because I've known they have had this power of total destruction for over two decades.  Yet, here we are.  They is not by the power of the Judeo-Luciferians and some Evangelicals and other pessimist claim is all powerful and in charge of everything.  Despite their power, here we are, still, by the Mercy and Grace of God.  There is no other reason.
