Zombie on Parade
Out of great love and patience, Rex Christi has endured the childlike carping of Rick Smith on his Facebook profile for years. Rick is a non-thinking Zombie who believes himself to be greatly enlightened by logic that he does not posses. He is actually sleeping and speaking words and ideas from a base of Solipsism. In other words, if he thinks it, it must be accurate and true.
The drone of the Solipsist is monotonous and non-colorful, and always the same. Rick perfectly fits the definition of "first path philosophy/theology I give in my article, "The Three Paths of Theology/Spirituality." He is tied to 'received tradition.' and views his inability to question the presuppositions of that tradition as "correctness and righteous enlightenment." He believes his religion is no religion, yet it is merely the disproved atheistic dogma of Extreme Materialism and the idol of science and psychology it produced.
Rex set the ball rolling by waving red meat in front of every non-believer.

I've never met a single atheist whose demonic distortion did not make him attack all things, Christ, with the religious fervor he projects as the fault of others. His is a demonic consciousness speaking and it has Rick totally blind to how his psyche is exposed for any person not deluded by bitter anti-religionism to see.

This Morning on the Celebration of the Ressurection of Jesus Christ, the Divine Logos by him all things were created, we are met with an earthling with a life span of 70 years, voiding the understanding that even Plato, Aristotle, and Lao Tsu held, each in their own way being sane men, exposing the Wisdom of Paul's letter to the Romans the first chapter stating that ancient man knew God by the things that are made. And in that chapter, you find our atheist friend described in all his insanity, having chosen not to hold God in his consciousness, having been turned over to a reprobate mind, unable to bear the Truth.
His belief in the nature of his own existence is that of a dull child who explains everything with "just because." His naturalist/materialist "just because" presupposes billions of accidental events from something that is magic, called The Big Bang, that has been proved mathematically impossible to a magnitude impossible to ignore. Yet, he perseveres in his False Religion, the presuppositions of which render anything he has to say about it, idiocy. But in his inverted mind even one else is wrong:
Lao Tsu, who wrote of the eternal Tao = word, (partly right, partly wrong)
Aristotle who wrote of the God of divine simplicity, the first cause (partly right, partly wrong),
Plato who wrote of the Logos (the Word). His understanding was better than Aristotle's and on par with Lao Tsu, and was clarified in the light of Christ by John the Theologian and Beloved Apostle, in the first chapter of his Gospel.
Everything that the physicists have postulated about the foundations of the nature of being and the nature of the Universe has been disproved many times over in the last two decades, even the size and nature of the Universe - they were wrong:
the uniformity of space - they were wrong; the possibility of the Big Band - they were wrong.
And I could make this list quite long.
Rick's faith is thoroughly disproved, and his reprobate mind shows. If you doubt me read the first chapter of Romans. Instead of a gold idol, Rick has chosen the abstract concept of "science" and some form of shallow rationalism he calls "logic."
By the way, just like with the pretended unified definition of the Universe, there is no Unified definition of science; it is fragmented into competing and contradictory disciplines. And as I say, all of its grandest and most perverse assertions as to Cosmology were destroyed in the last two decades by actual empirical data. This is not my belief, but Rick's "science" saying so.
Now, my anatomizing of Rick Smith's inability to see past his own insane presuppositions is not based solely on this single exchange but on witnessing many such conversations over the years. In that time, I have seen Rex Christi move to a more solid faith foundation that has witnessed much growth in his understanding, but as a dead knell, we have seen nothing but a constant, boink, boink of arrogance and pride based on NOTHING coming from Rick. There is a famous prayer of repentance for those who have no repentance; it says repeatedly, "but, Lord, grant me repentance before the end." And that is my wish for Rick. I hope he dares pray to Jesus Christ for actual enlightenment and that he gains repentance before the end. - Archpriest Symeon Elias.

Truth and lie are irreconcilable and most of us seek Truth as we live in lies. This irreconcilable conflict causes interior tumult and exterior conflict. It cannot be synthesized or explained away.
I don't mean to hammer Rick Smith, but when Joan Robinson shared this, I immediately thought of the inverted logic of Rick Smith. He believes that he is upholding his own consciousness, that somehow because he thinks it is. His logic contains all the insane reasoning of this picture.
