Bond's Mothers Day Thought

 

To all those who never met your mother;

To all those whose mother was a sad character and no role model, confused, addicted, suffering now, or died early;

To all those whose mother is or was cruel, demonic, or abusive;

To all those whose mother was a manipulator and held a master's degree in gaslighting;

To all whose mothers lack guts and didn't protect you as a child from the abuses of others:

Don't feel inferior as people celebrate their "perfect moms" today. They were blessed, but you are blessed too. You have the potential to be smarter and stronger than them. And if you love Jesus Christ, you share with him, his mother, Blessed Mother Mary, and her consolation is not the superstition of Catholics, but the actual comfort and intervention of a power Saint of God, Jesus' mother, the Theotokos, that is "She who carried God in her womb." And now Christ Jesus carries us in His Being, if we have called upon him, like a small child full of trust, and we share his mother, and that relationship is real. No mother on this earth compares to our mother. Hail Mary, Full of Grace the Lord is With Thee, Blessed are thou among women and Blessed the fruit of thy womb.

And Mom, you are blessed to us who know you and love you without reservation.
