The Great Religious Deceptions of Our Age
Dean W. Arnold: I'm having a hard time with Matt 23:35: "upon you will fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah..."
This prophecy by Jesus to the Pharisees is traditionally viewed as fulfilled in the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem by the Romans in AD 70. But what about the murderers from Abel and on? They get off scot free? And even most of those who condemned Jesus weren't alive in AD 70.
How does this fit with Rev. 15:3 "Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!"
(Bond Robin Note: Dean should have included the full name of Zacharias, son of Barachias. There is much speculation as to who this particular Zacharias was. One interesting possibility, just as Jesus spoke in the first person and out of linear time in Psalms 116, (we will get to that) so too it is possible that Jesus spoke cosmically here and included the last prophet killed by the Pharisees. That murder would not happen for another thirty-five years. Jesus could have been talking about a death that, by the best historical analysis, did not happen until just before the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD. Just an interesting side note? The Jewish historian Josephus records that death as occurring in 67 AD.)
Mihailo Kostich: I have problems understanding even more vaguely worded proscriptions, denunciations. The condemnation of those who would "betray the mysteries.." in the prayer before Communion, for example.
Who are those words even directed at?
But I was told "betrayal" in that passage probably refers loosely to anyone who is unfaithful to the Gospel Message and basic Commandments, Love God and Love One Another.
But the whole Problem of Evil, genocides of the 20th and now the 21st centuries... The only path to an "explanation" of those mysteries must lead in the direction of understanding our tiny, tiny place in the Universe.

Assuming C.S. Lewis had the proper perspective in sight when he wrote, The Great Divorce and described the denials and the acceptances along the "bus ride."
That allegorical bus ride seems like it could be a contemporary reimagining of St. Isaac of Syria's well known line, "all the sins of the world are as a handful of dust in the ocean of God's Mercy."
We really have no good concept at all of the distinctions between the markers of what we recognize as quotidian horizontal (linear) and vertical (eternal) time.

(Note: Doesn't that reek of the total shallowness of American young people? Maybe his heart is so hard, or his emotion so undeveloped that he does not realize the depth of suffering caused by the loss of a child. And as is recorded of King David, the suffering of his son, who struggled to live was more tormenting punishment than the death of the child. He wept and begged God to spare his son's life as long as the child suffered, refusing to eat and so on. )

No, rather I think your statement represents a hard heart incapable of understanding the torment David suffered as scripture records him in sackcloth and ashes, praying for the life of his child, refusing to eat, to the point that others were concerned for his survival. The reality is not limited to your solipsism and your finite understanding of God's justice.
BTW, Brad, I should think that this statement by the Apostle Saint Luke would send you into a self-righteous tizzy:

Brad Bleasdale is a stranger to me, but his words show that he is willing to pass judgment on not only scripture, but upon God himself, from a base of his own ego, his own sense of justice without a clue the nature of the world, the nature of God, and the spiritual warfare that exists and has existed inside the human and sub-human races for thousands of years. What would he make of the conquests of Joshua, and more importantly what could he make of the prophet King David, who before his was King was a "raider" with a small army, taking out the remnant of people God did not want to exist. In one's lollypop, adolescent, stunted reasoning and emotional development such events destroy the very idea of a Just and Loving God.
First Samuel 27:7 And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months.

The context makes clear that for the time that David lived with the Philistines he functioned as a raider, but more, killing out the remnant of those whose flesh was corrupt.

Archpriest Symeon Elias: The context of Jesus' prophecy is the condemnation of false teachers and corrupt religious leaders of all ages. When he speaks of the prophets killed, that is not limited to the Jewish prophets but the prophets that have spoken by the Holy Spirit since creation. It was only partly fulfilled in the judgment of Jerusalem and still applies to every liar in clerical garb, Luciferian Theologian, cult leader, and false teacher.

Archpriest Symeon Elias: As to betraying the Mysteries: Have not the teachers of Ecumenism who have created an overarching new religion not based upon "any particular teacher or savior" but some overarching ideology of Pax Deorum, literally re-instituting the Pagan Roman Imperial Religion, inside a framework of Greek philosophical language and presuppositions. There are many other ways the Mysteries have been betrayed and mocked. A large portion of what calls itself Christian today, betrays the mysteries, making of them powerless symbols and mere rituals. "Having a form of Godliness but denying the power thereof."

Maybe I'm imagining things, but I see witness of this "denial of the Mysteries" all over T.V., the Internet, Mega-Churches, great religious conferences, and soon to come, the great Chrislam center in the UAE.

I would have to ask Dean Arnold where the context of his satisfaction fits when the topic is the Ikon of the Eternal Word of God.
His WORD is the Truth that took human flesh and taught us.
Pslams 116:6 The Lord preserves the simple: I was brought low, and he delivered me.

This speaks to us and our proper stance before God's word, and it is also a prophecy and it is Jesus himself speaking saying:

Psa 116:17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of praise, and will call upon the name of the Lord.

Psa 116:19 in the courts of the Lord's house, in the midst of thee, Jerusalem.
And those words were the promise of the cosmic-ultimate sacrifice, the condescension to become the Son of Thy Handmaiden. And it also tells us who Blessed Mary was. Already, in cosmic understanding outside of linear time, she was God Handmaiden.
and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
Rev 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
This is a cosmic event, coming clear to view in our day and it is not a philosophical statement, but a picturing of HOPE.

I recently quoted Saint John Chrysostom in one of my videos about people who don't have a clue about the nature of being found in the reality of the Christian Worldview. Sadly, the majority of Americans fit his description perfectly. He said, "Poor human reason, when it trusts in itself, substitutes the strangest absurdities for the highest divine concepts."
The present assault on womanhood is a pitiful, insane, but real example of the total destruction of sanity in The West. This is not some college debate but a confirmation hearing in the United States Congress. The degenerate being interviewed cannot admit there is any such biological category as woman. The sane person posting this video named it, "How is this real life." What it is, is mass hypnosis creating a false reality.
Past the simplistic religions of dead tradition, that is, ignorantly keeping religious tradition as a point of correctness or family or social convention, the Great Religious Deceptions fall into two categories.
To release the restraints of the human spirit (the governing spirit - in more theologically technical terms, when the NOUS surrenders becomes dormant or dies) to allow reason or (Psyche) soul to predominate and distort the actual image of God in us and have theology degenerate along the reductionist, rationalist, deconstructionist path (The conversation related in The Great Religious Deceptions Vol One, fits this category, rationalist, reductionist, deconstructionist) - or along the romantic, dreamy and passionate one, the path of the soul unchecked and un-transfigured, "psychic" and not "pneumatic." (The end of Volume One, with Paula White's ridiculous prophetic hysteria and the display of false prophets, prophesying according to their passions and not according to knowledge clearly demonstrate this, "the path of the soul unchecked and un-transfigured, "psychic" and not "pneumatic."
These two, the rational and the romantic, represent two sides of the same coin of Western Captivity - Rational Theology and Romantic Spirituality. Rational Theology has to lead to the various absurdities (like the conversation in volume one where "rationalists" tried to critique God's Justice. In the world, we have seen things like the Jesus Seminar, textural criticism creating deconstructionist rational theology, scientific hermeneutics, the total demythologization of the Scriptures and Tradition; and its polar opposite, Romantic Spirituality, ultimately leading to Charismaticism, Spiritualism, Sophianism, even Satanism, (or some such rational or passionate spirituality) one's own unconquered passions being in control of the soul's searching and expression, which are quickly and ultimately submitted to demons or angels of light teaching theology to those Satan fears will slip from his grasp. "Prosperity not according to the Law of God destroys." So does power, if it is not placed in the submission of God. We have the example of King David's son, Solomon, who grew insane with power, gathered hundreds of wives and twice as many sexual consorts, built temples to the pagan gods of his wives and lovers, and ended up realizing he possessed nothing but dust; And really didn't posses even the dust. For the human being, absolute power does not exist, but when a human being who is not humble before God thinks he holds absolute power, he destroys himself with that power.
Orthodox Christianity is very different from these pools of religious confusion and the temptation of absolute power, expressed in the Vatican Pope's insanity.
I will submit that the sanity being demonstrated in modern Russian society rebuilding itself from the damage of 60 years of official atheism is far healthier than the insanity in the West, which is purposely destroying Womanhood. I believe that Vladimir Putin's exposure to the grounded teachings of the Orthodox Christian Faith has kept him from being swept away in ego and power and suffering the degeneracy that accompanies such power.
What was it that Saint Nicholai said that we quoted in the last video? That power, not submitted in humility before God, destroys.
Tell me the lie he tells:
As the first meme suggests, the U.N. Religion signified by the "Temple of Understanding" is a central hub of the Luciferian Religion, which has taken control of the Vatican and holds those in her grip who hold to the dogmas of the Councils of Vatican I and Vatican II. For the U.N. and the Vatican, it is tied with the Universalism of Theosophy, as held by the World Mason Movement, i.e., Luciferian/Enlightenment. All of this structure, ALL OF IT, is Luciferian and Anti-Christ. Its result is the diabolical Culture of Death created in the West, whose central goal is dumbing-down the population and getting them to cooperate with their own genocide.

It would only be logical that as more and more people actively call on Lucifer, and actually make a pact with Satan, and as technology increases, the beast of technology would be used to increase the "devouring of humanity." Let's read that sentence again because it is pregnant with common sense so that those with minimal spiritual understanding may understand it. In this period, to sit in judgment of the Words of Jesus, the Eternal Logos, the foundation and ground of all things, is, at the very least foolish and, in reality, suicidal. People are dying in the tens of millions and not by natural means.
There is a great culling happening with the apparatus of the Plandemic and poisoning of hundreds of millions with Remdesifir and gene-altering nanotechnology biologics, which include unassembled dormant nano-technological mechanisms that frequencies outside the body can activate. This is not a conspiracy theory; instead, it is evidenced by many, many patents issued confirming this technology and the real world spike in all-cause deaths following the vaccine rollout and the synthetic snake venom organoids placed permanently in the body, capable of activating and producing snake venom in the body, which when activated mimic many known diseases, an array of toxic proteins that attack the organs. This is the terror of the 5G technology that has the power to eradicate all who have been VAXed and indeed all of human flesh within the 5G grid. All this signifies tremendous and powerful weapons in the control of the Death Cult. All of this is anti-life and a betrayal of the Christian Mysteries, which are life-engendering. My belief is that any delusion of Utopia Building and the demonic mutilation of human DNA to build the super-race, just another dystopian lie, is a betrayal, defamation, and desecration of the life engendering Christian Mysteries. My belief in this is simple, Jesus said, "I came that you may have life and life more abundantly." And the context of that proclamation is as follows:
He said, "I Am the Good Shepherd." What was the major function of the shepherd? To guide the sheep to health and protect them from predatory destruction.
John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Joh 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Ultimately, this is the great Christian mystery, how Jesus, in his own person as the Glorified God-Man, created the human flesh we all get to share, if we call upon him, as a small child full of trust. When we operate in dead or demonic ritualism (Hill Song is an example) or (1), let our emotions take control and lead us to trust them as the arbiter of truth, limiting our understanding to "what seems satisfying to us" then our very soul becomes the playground of demons - this is the fantasy of all Theosophy and New Age Gnosticism, or (2) we limit our search to the rational mind, trying to create a God we can understand, which lead us to worship our own egos. These two represent the great howl of false religions and false philosophies, all of which deny Christ, all of which is a denial of the Mysteries of God. One final thing, some famous Saint said (and I don't remember which one), "Satan resorts to teaching theology to those he fears are slipping from his grasp." I witness myriad demonically inspired teachers every day because of the power of the internet, all of them with their brand of theology and feelgoodism designed to deny the Mysteries of the Christian Faith. Jordan Peterson is a master at this, and so is Stefan Molyneux. I have one such self-proclaimed teacher that haunts my FaceBook profile, continually offering substitutes and great Gnostic tomes trying to explain away the simple and powerful realities in Christ Jesus.
Jesus hold not secrets:
The context of the original question regarding God's judgment as stated in Matthew Chapter 23, where Jesus described the false teachers as "Ye blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel." The gnat, in this case, is some sense that Jesus' words did not or do not live up to expectation. The camel is the whole artifact of ridiculous and dead non-enlightened exegesis of scripture to one's "satisfaction." I can't help grieving the hellish result of the grand Luciferian (Enlightenment) experiment and the slavery to Secular Fundamentalism.
The antichrists are here in power in this accelerated age of "information/disinformation" So much of that information is the instruction of demons.
