They want to wipe Russia off the face of the earth. What have I been saying for twenty plus years?!

"They Feel It's High Time to Do Away With Russia", Says the Patriarch

On Sunday, October 23, Patriarch Kirill consecrated the Annunciation Cathedral of the Diveevo Convent and called upon the faithful to pray for the secession of hostilities to St. Seraphim of Sarov, whose name is inseparably linked to the history of the Convent.

"Today our Fatherland is going through a test caused by Russophobia, by the evil views, evil thoughts and evil will aimed at Russia. There is an idea right now is the high time to do away with Russia altogether.

And why so? Because our view of the world, of God, of mankind is contrary to their, because it does not fit into their program that excludes God from human life. That is why, of course, Russia is an eyesore for many," the Patriarch said to the congregation at the end of the service.

What is happening today is "not just another military campaign," it seems that many want to "wipe Orthodox Russia out of existence". So, today we should pray especially for the authorities, for the army, for the president and for all those who bear the burden "of the battle that we have entered into through no fault of our own”.

Patriarch Kirill believes that in the current situation Russia is also helped by her heavenly intercessors, to whom prayers must also be addressed.

"And after all, the saints of the Russian land are with us! - he said. - And the holy merciful humble elder St. Seraphim - he too is with us today, he too is with Russia today, because from that point before which the horizons of eternity are open, he sees and knows what is happening to our Fatherland. And so the prayer today to him must be fervent, that through his intercession the Lord would pacify and reconcile people, so that the fratricide in our land and all foreign invasions would cease”.
